This page tells you how to change your mind about an order placed with BOUNTIOUKOS SPINARIS ATHANASIOS ("450labs shop"), how the money comes back, and the cases where the right does not apply. It also covers returning something that arrived faulty, which is a separate right.
This is a starting-point template and not legal advice. It has to be reviewed for this business before it is relied on.
1. The 14-day cooling-off right
Under Greek and EU consumer-protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Law 2251/1994) you may withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason and without paying a penalty.
The period starts:
- for a single product, on the day you or someone you named receives it;
- for an order delivered in several parts, on the day the last part is received;
- for a repeat delivery over a period, on the day the first delivery is received.
2. How to withdraw
Tell us before the period ends. Any clear statement is enough. You can:
- email hello@450labs.net with your order number and say you are withdrawing, or
- post the statement to Chatzigianni Mexi 4, 11528 Athens, Greece, or
- fill in the model form at the end of this page and send it to us.
Sending the goods back on their own, with nothing to say what it is about, makes it slower for both of us. Please tell us first. We confirm receipt of your withdrawal without delay.
Sending the message before the deadline is enough. It does not matter if it reaches us the next day.
3. Sending the goods back
Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you told us you were withdrawing. Pack them so they survive the trip.
Return shipping is paid by: the shop.
You are liable only for any reduced value of the goods caused by handling them beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Handling them the way you could in a shop costs you nothing.
4. Getting your money back
We refund every payment we received from you, including the standard delivery cost you paid on the way out. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our cheapest standard one, we refund the standard cost, not the difference.
- We refund within 14 days of the day we are told you are withdrawing.
- We may hold the refund until we have the goods back, or until you show they were sent, whichever happens first.
- The refund uses the same payment method you used. For a cash-on-delivery order there is nothing to reverse, so we agree a bank transfer with you and ask for the account details we need for it. You are not charged for the refund.
5. When the right does not apply
The cooling-off right does not apply to:
- goods that spoil quickly or pass their expiry date fast, such as fresh food;
- goods made to your specification or clearly personalised;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
- goods that are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;
- sealed audio or video recordings or sealed software once unsealed;
- newspapers and magazines, other than a subscription.
In this shop, that means: None.
Where an exception applies it is stated on the product page before you order, so you know before you pay.
6. Faulty or wrong goods, which is a separate right
If what arrived is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, you do not need the withdrawal right and you do not pay the return shipping. Your legal guarantee of conformity under Greek and EU consumer-protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Law 2251/1994) covers repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, and it runs for the period that law sets, longer than the 14 days above.

7. Model withdrawal form
